Have you ever prayed to the Holy Spirit and heard or seen Him respond in your life?
Oh yea! Many times. One thing I would like to point out here from my experience. I am able to put it in words from St. Ignatius of Loyola. The following is kind a blend from me and St. Ignatius. When we pray and when we persevere, like I have discussed in the past during one of our meetings, our brain gets rewired. Then slowly, you will notice, prayer becomes enjoyable. St. Ignatius says, this doesn't mean we can relax. Remember St. Paul says, we are not fighting human powers. We are fighting supernatural powers. They are more cunning and intelligent than we are. so the Holy Spirit uses our reason and the devil uses our emotions. Say, I am doing something very pleasurable but selfish, the Holy Spirit plants a feeling of guilt in me. At the same time, the opposite is also true. When we try set time to pray, the evil spirits tells us "it's OK. One day is Ok to miss." The evil spirits even make us do something good and make us justify our other actions which pulls us away from God. Each one of us, in our lives, need to work on ourselves with the Holy Spirit.
What I am trying to say in the third statement above is that I was able to put my thoughts into words using the help of words from St. Ignatius Loyola.
