All the ends of the earth shall remember
and turn to the LORD;
and all the families of the nations
shall worship before him.
28 For dominion belongs to the LORD,
and he rules over the nations.

The Holy Bible: New Revised Standard Version, Catholic Edition. (1993). (Ps 22:27–28). Washington, DC: National Council of Churches of Christ.

I think the last verses of Psalm 22 demonstrate this prophecy because of the first verses of this Psalm Jesus quotes from the cross. This Psalm is written in the first person. It is a plea to God in the beginning from a "suffering servant" (Isaiah 53) and by it's conclusion this same voice sings praise to God and tells of how his sacrifice will be remembered, passed down through ages to those "yet unborn" (verse 31), that their deliverance (v. 31) is by him to whom "all the proud of the earth shall bow down; before him shall bow all who go down to the dust" (verse 29); the one who is the voice of this first person pleading to God. This seems to suggest the suffering person "went away" in a sacrificial manner in order to "deliver" and seems to me to speak quite clearly that Jesus quoted this because it is  written in the first person the way it is so that by those words he could tell us personally that this act is a prophetic act faithful and even basically educated Jews would recognize and because he wanted to reiterate God's promise of salvation showing us that God is a God who fulfils his promises.
