1. If you are an atheist, you believe that when you die...

My understanding is that atheists profess that they do not believe in any sort of religion or supernatural life.  When they die, that's it; their life - their individual existence and consciousness - is over.  They are composed of their physical body and energy.  They recycle back into the universe.  They perceive themselves as being part of nature rather than being created by God.

Their decisions are their own and when things happen outside their control, they think of it as a tough break.  Things are random and all they can do is control their reaction.
