What areas of your life suffers due to busyness?
Prayer, teaching children the importance of God, helping the Church and others.
This is a difficult question to answer. The ones you cited, Deacon, are definitely the obvious ones, but I consider areas that lead to what you said; that help us to "preach the Gospel" in the manner you say. Of course, praying always suffers since St. Paul tells us to "pray without ceasing" (1 Thes. 5:17), unless we, as Brother Lawrence suggests, turn all we do into a prayer. In that sense we can live out the verse preceding which says to "rejoice always". In all we do, rejoice and in all that we rejoice, turn into prayer and preaching. And so, does our busyness detract from our joy? Do we set too many goals and obligations before ourselves which pull us away from seeking the one true goal?
