Read Luke 11:1-13, in which a disciple asks Jesus to teach them to pray
In light of Israel's history, do you find anything interesting in the fact that Jesus asks his disciples to begin their prayer, "Our Father"? (Read also Galatians 3:26-4:7.)
Read Catechism 2762-2766 and 2803-2806. How would you summarize what Jesus teaches about how we should pray?
What attitude does Jesus urge his disciples to take in prayer, and why (Luke 11:5-13)?

Jesus teaches his disciples to call God "Our Father" to showing a close personal relationship with him. in Catechism 2762 St. Augustine mentions that we cannot find anything in all holy prayers that is not contained in the Lord's Prayer.
