If all Jesus had to do was die, couldn't it have been some easier way? Why did Jesus have to suffer? Read Isaiah 53 and Galatians 3:13. (Hint: How does Jesus' death on the cross solve these two problems: a) the curse on Adam and b) Israel's broken covenant with God?)
