Read Luke 22:31-34 and 54-62. Peter, "the Rock," appears to have failed, in spite of Jesus' prayer. Now read John 21:1-19, which recounts something that happened after Jesus'
In Luke 22, does it seem to bother Jesus that Peter will deny him? What kind of man has Jesus chosen to be the foundation of his Church?
