Read CCC 2572. Abraham was willing to obey God by sacrificing his son. Can you see parallels to this and the sacrifice of God the Father's Son?

It was in giving up his son that Abraham became the father of the nation that would bless the world.  In doing so, he was able yo "share in the power of God's love that saves the multitude" (CCC 2572).  what does Abraham's act foreshadow, that God would ultimately do? Give as many parallels as you can between the two events.
