At the top of Mount Sinai, God gave Moses explicit directions for building a portable tent of meeting called a tabernacle (literally, “dwelling place”) and its furnishings.
Read Exodus 29:42-46. What was the purpose of the Tabernacle, which will distinguish Israel from all nations on earth? (See also Exodus 33:14-16.)

A place for God to meet them and speak to them. Gods says it will be made sacred by his glory.

The purpose of the Tabernacle is to have the presence of God with Israelites always. This distinguishes Israelites from other nations because, God is NOT present with those nations who do not follow His commands.
